I used the Two Tags die to punch out the bookmark base in Tempting Turquoise. Then I stamped the images from Love Bandit on Whisper White cs, colored them with markers and blender pen and cut them out. I punched a Pretty in Pink heart and stamped the sentiment in Rose Red ink as you see it using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. All were adhered to the base. Lastly, I used the Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the top and added the Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon. (The heart in the picture is pierced.)
This would have been a great Valentine to give...Lilli wanted the Love Bots (shh Kind of a pain to assemble)But that's OK she only needed 21 and it came with 30....so you know what that means, an already made box for me, to cover!
ReplyDeleteWe got a dusting this morning, not enough to bring out the wings though!
Hugs
This is adorable.. I love the way you scalloped the top.. I will need to think about that one..Great job on this sweet bookmark.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dawn, the way the tree fits into the scallops at the top is so neat. It's such a sweet set, too. At least you inked the it before Valentine's Day :D. Got to make DH a bookmark, he's always muttering about not having one when he has several books on the go.
