Inchies or twinchies...... what will it be. That's the Jingle Belle goal this week to feature inchies or twinchies of any shape. Mine is smack-dab in the middle - bigger than an inchie and smaller than a twinchie.
I actually cut the 1 1/2" opening out of the blue cardstock to frame my snowman. I added a little torn paper snow layer and some glitter gel pen.
The blue in the second photo is closer to the actual color of the cardstock - Ballet Blue. The camera seems to make adjustments of it's own against that brown background I've noticed lately. I really like this color blue and I'm glad I stashed a package of it before they retired it a few years back.
So, now I'll head over to the Jingle Belles blog to check out all the other inchie/twinchie cards. You can join me by clicking here.
It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used an aperture to frame that so-sweet little snowman...it makes me think of the old-fashioned Advent calendars before it became almost impossible to find ones with just a little picture and no chocolates or any other 3D treats.

ReplyDeleteohhhhh i love that you've cut the frame out of the blue (so to speak, lol) and the tiny layer of torn-paper snow is pricelessly FAB! it's funny, you're not the only one who opted for 1.5" and it really is a better size than either of the rounder numbers. i think the only reason it's not a "thing" is what the heck would we call it? sesquinchies? yeah, that's never gonna happen, but when they look this good we'll just call them AWESOME and thank you for sharing with us at JINGLE BELLES! ♥
ReplyDeleteAnother really nice card! Of course I do love the blue because it's my favourite colour.
ReplyDeleteLove how the snow flurry circles that happy little snowman ... such a fabulous design to feature your tiny image ... so very glad you joined us at Jingle Belles.
