Friends of ours and also my office mate lost their dogs this week. Truth be told, I am not a dog lover but I do know it is a hard thing dealing with the loss of a pet that is part of your family. I wanted to let them know that we are sorry for their loss so I quickly put this card together using the D is for Dog set and the grass stamp (which I forget the name of at the moment). I used Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla paper and ink with a little bit of Chocolate Chip sponging at the edges.
Although it was for a sad occasion, it felt good to get a couple of cards done this week. My stamp room is a mess and with the heat not very inviting, but I am done with my "big project" and should be getting back into my stamping if my mojo hasn't taken a vacation!
This peaceful combination of Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake is gorgeous. I know they will each love the card and the thoughts that come with it. Sorry for their losses.
