Scribble Picnic - STRAWBERRY

The theme for Scribble Picnic this week is STRAWBERRY.   These little garden fairies are trying to bring this one to their picnic.  It's pretty big compared to them, but they have plenty more friends to share it with.  You probably can't see them, but they're buzzing around your head right now!  Oh, don't worry, they're not nasty like gnats.

I'll be stopping by the picnic later today to see all the STRAWBERRY creations.  And I hear there's a STORM brewing for the picnic next week before we take a two-week vacation.  Gee, I hope no one gets blown away!

  4. Ha, I love how your wrote this post up and even tied it into our next theme, let alone that, yes, we have a two week break to let people go do their summer things for a bit. :)

Lorraine, this is jsut charming. I love the little garden fairies. What a fun idea and you've shown their size well with how big that juicy strawberry is in comparison. :) Thank you sooo much.

  5. Gorgeous strawberry! And such hard-working little fairies. Well, four of them anyway. The other appears to be "supervising"!

  6. So cute and I do wish those little critters buzzing around my head were garden fairies ... they are gnats, so many of them I have to brush them away to proceed to where I am going, but, it is fun to think otherwise. Cute and thoughtful drawing, Lorraine. Hope your Mother's Day is uplifting and full of love ...

  7. Such a cute idea and that strawberry would be a welcome addition at any picnic, I'm sure. Those little garden fairies are working very hard indeed...nice work yourself, Lorraine. :)

  8. Cute little garden fairies - far sweeter than gnats or midges. The seeds on the strawberry are amazing. It reminds me of a little needle-cushion (for want of a better word, smaller than a pincushion) that my grandmother had.
