Scribble Picnic - Hot Chocolate

Perfect weather for a picnic?  Maybe not but it's perfect weather for a cup of hot chocolate........even if it's a cup of Hot Cocoa Marshmallow flavored Kettle Corn!   An after school treat....... in my favorite oversized Ikea mug of course!  That's what I'm bringing to the picnic this week.

I usually share my popcorn with Kirby (our cockatiel), but he doesn't care for chocolate or marshmallows.  This brand (Boom Chicka Pop) typically has soft kernels and it was a little bit of work, but because of this implant surgery I've had done in my mouth, I picked off all those little kernel shells.  It was well worth not getting any of those things stuck up in my gums.

I took a little peak and I think I'm not the only one who strayed from traditional hot chocolate on this one.  Won't you join me in finding out for sure by clicking here.

Next week's theme is TABLECLOTH - there's always room for more at the picnic!

    1. Thanks Pam. After I posted it I realized I forgot to put in the white accents on the blue flowers. Oh well!

  3. OOH there you go, thinking too of other form of hot choc. I love it and the cup with the negative space pattern employed. Great stuff. Thank you so much, Lorraine! It looks delicious too. BTW, I am the same with popcorn--always seem to end up with shells between my teeth that can sometimes cause an infection or what if I don't catch it right away. I'll still eat popcorn though as I like it and Alex loves it!

  5. Hi Lorraine :) That is so beautiful, the mug is darling, I love it! And wow...that kettle corn looks delicious! I just made some caramel corn for Alex, it all gets stuck in my teeth so I can't really eat it! But I like the idea of the hot cocoa marshmallow kettle corn! :) Please share! :)

    1. It was very tasty - wish I had more. It was made by Boom Chicka Pop, but I think it was pre-holiday.

  7. From Andrea -
Well, why not combine the two ... hot cocoa marmellow flavored ketttle corn and and cup of hot chocolate. Love how your mind broadens the field of choices and kettle corn ... I eat it all of the time and then have to floss to get rid of the hulls, Ha! Great post Lorraine ...

  8. Sometime I must try chocolate and popcorn - they're so good on their own, so they should be even better combined. Love your cup!
