Jingle Belles 31

This week we are celebrating a Blue Christmas as suggested by our guest hostess June Houck.  What does that mean - well blue should be the predominate color of our card and I think I pulled that off.

I used both Marina Mist and Night of Navy cs and I also got to use my new Memory Box swirly tree die.  I love those delicate swirls which I tried to compliment with the swirl embossed background.  Those are some MS punched snowflakes with sticky blue jewels.  The oval was cut using the Scallop oval die and embossed.  I didn't want those background swirls to disappear so I swiped some white craft ink over them.

So don't be blue but come and see the other blue beauties here.

  4. I love blue Christmas cards, and yours is a beauty, Lorraine! I really like the soft muted affect you achieved by applying white ink over the swirled background. Beautiful in every way!
