And I can bet with all the DIY going on at the time it wasn't hard to find the wood for the Advent calendar! I love it - that tree is amazing. I can't believe it's just painted on in brushstrokes, it looks so fine and detailed. I like that little mouse (?) I can see hanging on the first nail. It must have been such fun choosing all the little ornaments. Seeing them reminded me of visiting an amazing bead shop in London once - I still have some little glass animal beads I got to use as earrings. And oh dear, I haven't even got my book Advent calendar out yet, just making do so far with the online one my sister sent me.Sabrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17522656235476335067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1044301988472338053.post-47057092132842727582012-12-03T02:14:04.055-05:002012-12-03T02:14:04.055-05:00Love this post . . . good memories of when your ch...Love this post . . . good memories of when your children were young and what a wonderful idea - the random acts of kindness. I will try to spread some of that kindness in this part of the country. Clarehttp://planetclare-clare.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
