Scribble Picnic - Cabin

My cabin is in a meadow of spring flowers at the top of one in a series of rolling hills.

I used my old stand-by's - Prismacolor pencils.

You can find all the other entries to this week's prompt at Scribble Picnic.

  5. Lorraine,
This looks like the cabins (cottages) we have in Ontario. Someone who will build a larger place later but for now has his property and wants to enjoy nature. I felt like I could run through that meadow. Lovely.

  7. Lorraine, your scene looks so serene and that cabin, small and cute. How lovely would that place be among those rolling hills with the splashes of colour from the flowers in front. Perfect. So, do you like being in cabins in real life or jsut here in dreamland? I tend to like a hot shower, must say! :)

I love your addition to our collective. Thank you so much for joining in again!

  8. I am always enamored by the myriad of green shades surrounding us - and here you did add many to your really lovely piece Lorraine.
The rolling hills remind me a little of my English home or, perhaps even more because of the pines, the countryside here in North Carolina on a drive toward the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.

    Lovely.

  10. Nice! I like the openness around this cabin–plenty of space to walk around or just observe all the nature in the meadow.

  11. What a lovely cabin, Lorraine. I admire ANYONE who can create an entire piece out of colored pencil. Too intimidating I guess for me. LOL I like to combine watercolors, Tombow brushes and colored pencils. :D

  13. I gave up in the end using my prismacolour pencils as they just kept breaking. I keep them in their box and haven't dropped them so don't why. I sharpen the right way too.
I love your field of flowers. Hugs. Mrs A.
