Jingle Belles 15

The challenge this week is brought to us by Clare of Miscanthus Crafts. She gave us a formula based on "The Ghost of Christmas Present" -

1.  As white as a ghost

2.  A present

3.  A bow or knot

4.  A touch of traditional Christmas colors

White - check
Present - check
Bow - check, check
Traditional Christmas colors - check

Who says that a present has to come in a box?  The stamped gift bag is from the Hostess Set Birthday Bakery.  The stamp has a heart where my little bow is, I just didn't ink that up with my marker.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Those dots on the bag are colored red and green - kind of hard to see in the photo as is.  Click it and it should get bigger.

I added the red cotton string handles to the bag along with the bow. The plaid ribbon was gathered with a running stitch and adhered to the back of the embossed polka dot panel.

Thanks for a great challenge Clare!  Want to see the rest?  Click here.

  3. Most of my presents are given in recycled gift bags; I don't like to wrap! Kudos to you on a little twist to the challenge. I *heart* your ribbon around the image too. Gorgeous work :)
