Limited Supply Challenge - Birthday Card

The Limited Supply Challenge today (Friday) on Splitcoast was to make a card for a specific ocassion in 15 mins. using something new.

My father always said that whatever you did on New Year's Day you would do every day for the rest of the year.  Well, what better way to resolve to stamp every day than to start today and hope that my father's words rang true!

Here is my card..............

As you can see it's a birthday card (I'll need at least one birthday card this month!).  I've used several new things:  The stamp set Well Scripted, my Beautiful Wings embosslit, and the dsp is from the new Welcome Neighbor DSP pack.

Additionally I've used the little leaves die, Kraft, Gable Green, Pretty in Pink, and Melon Mambo CS, Melon Mambo Ink and polka-dotted grosgrain, the large oval and scalloped oval punches.  Oh, and yes, the new scalloped border punch (but I've used that one before so I didn't count it as new).

Here's the inside......

I love all those little textured butterfllies you get with this new embosslit.  I've attached them with sticky dots.  My color choices for this card were from scraps that I had on my work table at the time.

There's a new Occasions Mini coming out on January 5th and Sale-a-Bration begins at the same time, so there'll be lots of new stuff to look forward to!
