Thursday's Throw Aways - Week 4

On my Teapot Tuesday card this week I included a butterfly made from recycled items. Here is another butterfly card and a picture tutorial on how to make the butterflies.

You will need the following items:

Aluminum foil lids from yogurt, jello, or pudding cups (or larger ones from other cans)
Paper Crimper
Sharpies
Needle tool or other pointed object
8" of thin wire
Beads for the body
Sticky tape

  3. I love throw away Thursdays. You are so clever when it comes to recycling items I usually toss. You have me looking at everything now to think about how else it could be used.

  9. ...Yoghurt is on my shopping list for tomorrow! What a fabulous idea, Lorraine! Clever girl! I just made one using some metal shim (very thin) & I used my nestabilities to cut the circles. Not bad but yoghurt lids would be better! (And I get to eat the contents!
    Thanks for sharing!
