But I've had it up to here with winter!!!
I got to walk around outside yesterday in the driveway. Couldn't walk down the hill yet, because there's still ice, but I did my laps outside. I noticed this angel just poking her head out of the snow. I think we've all had just about enough winter already. Yet, tomorrow we're expecting more snow! 
We were without electricity from Tuesday til yesterday (Sunday). Although we bought a huge generator, Joe didn't know how to hook it up to our furnace so we had this big ol' thing running and only one little electric heater hooked up to it. It was AWFUL!! Finally, my brother was able to make it to our house through 3 feet of snow, and hooked it up to our furnace through the circuit breaker box (he's the original MacGuiver) So, we ended up with HEAT. Now, I"m having to scrub hardwood floors to get the salt out of the grain and today, I started moving furniture and putting down polyeurethane. It's beautiful, but one more shut-in like this one, and I"m going to the bell tower with my gun.
ReplyDeleteAt least this angel is a sign that eventually your snow will be gone. I feel almost guilty hearing how hard other parts of the country are getting hit this winter - our climate is mild compared.
